Thanksgiving and beyond

We had a quiet Thanksgiving with just the three of us and Brian's mom. Brian went out early and shot a spike on the mountain behind the house. Nothing like being able to hunt in your own backyard!
Here's a couple of pictures of baby cooking with mom and Brian's fat little buck.

Jake got to try some sweet taters with dad and we followed up the eventful day reading stories.

We got up early Friday and braved the malls, baby in backpack and all! The only one who really made out in that deal was Jake! He aquired a whole new wardrobe and a couple of christmas toys. He's about 19 pounds these days and slowly growing out of his 6-9 month stuff. Thanks to Kmart and JC Penny ($3 clothing items) now his choices are endless!
Today we'll be butchering the deer and visiting with Brian's sister Sheryl. Hope you all had a great turkey day!

Good morning to all! This is my first attempt at creating a blog, so bear with me, I'm sure the site will undergo much change in the coming days and weeks. We've elected to take the week off and are enjoying our first "real" vacation since Snoop arrived!

Snoop is growing up fast. He's learning to crawl, pull himself up and has even attempted to take a step or two on his own, with balance challenges. We predict he'll be "cruising" like a pro in a week or two.

I'm posting some pictures all to enjoy of Snoop playing with Grandma's shoes and one of just how quickly he's outgrowing his swing!

Tomorrow I should have some great Thanksgiving photos as well.
